30 Days of Gratitude - Day 19

Today I had a very nice phone conversation with Kristin.  She had just gotten her haircut and was walking home.  We chatted about her day, her evening the night before, her grad school applications, her haircut, Thanksgiving and whatnot.  It was a very nice 15 minute phone call.  Sometimes our conversations are tense and leave me feeling frustrated.  But this one was different and it was a very welcome spot in my day.  She seemed happy and it made me smile.  Because isn't that what we ultimately want for our kids, to be happy? I am thankful she called just to chat.
